Victor Oquendo joined the Local 10 News Team in January 2010.

He shoots, edits and reports South Florida’s stories for air on Local 10 and online for JustNews.com .

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami.

While in College, Victor interned for the CBS Early Show, the CBS Evening News and CBS4 in Miami. He also anchored UM’s Emmy award-winning weekly newscast “Newsvision.”

He’s an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Born and raised in Coral Gables, Victor is honored to be on the inside of the news operation he grew up watching.

He currently lives in Brickell.

In his free time you can find him on the golf course or running around the Brickell area.
