NCAA Game Summary - Montana State At Idaho State

Pocatello, ID -- Calvin Ento came off the bench and scored 17
points and pulled down seven boards in helping the Montana State Bobcats to a
76-71 win over the Idaho State Bengals in Big Sky Conference play from Reed
Gym. Before fouling out Jason Erickson added 14 points and five assists, while
Danny Faaborg contributed 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc as
the Bobcats (13-10, 5-5 Big Sky) won their second straight game. The Bengals (10-14, 5-4) were paced by Marquis Poole who tallied a game-high
31 points in the losing effort. Poole also had a team highs with seven
rebounds, seven assists and five steals as Idaho State dropped its second game
in three tries. Nate Rede and Scott Henry also scored in double figures with
12 and 10 points, respectively. Montana State knocked down 54.5 percent of its shot attempts in the first
half, including 8-of-14 beyond the arc, en route to a commanding 46-29 lead at
the break. In the second half the Bengals battled back by converting 53.8 percent from
the floor and 11-of-15 at the free-throw line, but still suffered the five-
point setback.
