The Youth Fair is ranked the largest fair in Florida. The adrenaline-filled 21-day event includes more than 90 heart-pounding rides, two giant Kiddielands, outrageous fair foods, livestock and agricultural competitions, live concerts, blockbuster shows, a sensational European style circus and much more within its 86-acre complex.

Cost:  $14 general admission

Free admission for seniors 65 and older. Free admission for children 5 and under.

Thursday Night Food Truck Round-Up

Rickenbacker Causeway - Across MAST Academy & Miami Marine Stadium

Key Biscayne, FL

Time:  5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department and Rickenbacker Causeway Park Operations will premiere the new Thursday Night Food Truck Round-Up. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of culinary treats served up by popular gourmet food truck vendors, along with picturesque views of Biscayne Bay.

Friday Farmer's Market at Haulover Beach Park

Visitors can enjoy the fun of healthy living at this family-style event, featuring fresh locally grown produce for purchase, a live DJ pop-up dance party, a bounce house for the kids and more.

Superintendent's 5K Challenge – A Race for Education

Broward College welcomes the community to come out for a Health and Wellness Fair. The event will give attendees the opportunity to have their glucose, cholesterol, vitals, gait and balance and spirometry checked. Vision screenings, CPR demonstrations, body mass index evaluations and massages are also part of the offerings.

Shopping Olympics

This event benefits Special Olympics South Florida.  Guests will receive a passport and will be tasked with shopping Brickell City Centre to collect passport stamps. Successful competitors will receive entry to the Special Olympics Raffle and be entered to win the grand prize and gold medal.

Sneaker Donation Drive

Time:  9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday

In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Florida Community Bank Financial Holdings, Inc. is raising awareness by hosting a children's sneaker donation drive at all FCB banking centers. The children’s sneakers collected will be donated to local charities supporting children in foster care.

Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure

Time:  10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The third annual Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure features more than 250 classic cars on display as part of a fundraiser to benefit Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of UHealth, the University of Miami Health System. The event will also boast numerous food vendors, a band, a "touch zone" with a Miami Lakes Fire Department fire truck, a police car, a bus, and many other entertaining elements.

This is a special event to raise funds for the Guitars Over Guns organization. The evening features award-winning vocalist Nicole Henry, a cocktail hour and a candid q&a session alongside an intimate acoustic performance. There will be complimentary bites and drinks.

Carfit Safety Event

Time:  9 a.m. to Noon

FIU Occupational Therapy will give free CarFit exams to help keep older drivers safe on Miami roads.  CarFit aims to improve older adult driving safety by checking how their car “fits” them, including appropriate foot positioning for pedals, proper mirror adjustment, optimal seating position  and correct use of seatbelts.  A proper “fit” in one’s car can greatly increase driver mobility and safety, in turn, reducing injury.

Cost:  Free for drivers ages 55+

Gospel legend Yolanda Adams will headline the closing concert for the 2016-2017 season of free gospel Sundays.  Known for her powerful vocals and pioneering blend of traditional gospel music with R&B and jazz, the multiple Grammy Award-winning artist will perform her chart-topping hits, including "Open My Heart" and "Be Blessed." The concert will also feature performances by the Arsht Center's resident ensemble, Miami Mass Choir.  Local 10 news anchor Calvin Hughes will serve as the evening's emcee.

3rd Annual Artcause: Art Auction for a Social Cause

Attendees will have the chance to bid on various artistic creations with proceeds benefiting the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation. The paintings, installations, ceramics, sculptures and other pieces on auction were donated by faculty, students, and local emerging artists.

Miami International Jazz Fest

The event features a repertoire of music, including Straight Ahead, Latin Jazz, Samba and Cuban "Son Montuno," as well as Fusion and Big Band to reflect the diversity within jazz as an art form.  Locations vary on each day. Opening day kicks off with a performance of Miami's jazz diva, Wendy Pedersen.
