HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Hollywood Hills High School was placed on lockdown Wednesday morning after a threat was made against the school on social media.
A Broward County Public Schools representative said the school at 5400 Stirling Road was on lockdown as a precaution. The lockdown has since been lifted.

Hollywood police spokeswoman Miranda Grossman confirmed that the lockdown was sparked by a post on Twitter by someone threatening to kill at least two students at the school.
"Tomorrow at 9:30 am let's kill two Hollywood Hills High School students," the post read.
Hollywood police said extra patrol units are in the area because of the threat.
