'NKOTB,' '98 Degrees,' 'Boyz II Men' going on tour
90's boy bands unite for summer tour
Nineties boy band groupies rejoice! The three hottest boy bands of the 1990's will be hitting the road together.
"New Kids On The Block," "98 Degrees" and "Boyz II Men" announced Tuesday on "The View" that they will be going on tour.
Joey, Jordan, Donnie, Jonathan, and Danny from "NKOTB" kicked things off by announcing they would be releasing a new album with their first single to debut next week.
But the surprises didn't end there. The group then revealed the other popular groups would be joining them on stage.
"These guys are classic, man, to have two great groups from the 90's go on tour with us, it's almost kind of like three generations - us first, then 'Boyz II Men', then '98 Degrees,'" said Jordan Knight.
Nick Lachey from "98 Degrees," who haven't toured in more than a decade, said the fans helped make his group decide to jump on board.
"The fun of performing together and being on stage together again and the fans wanting to see it happen," said Lachey.
"This is something that we wanted for a long time, we've been friends with both groups for a long time and we've been talking about putting something like this together," said Shawn Stockman of "Boyz II Men."
The groups will be hitting the road May 31. They'll perform at the BB&T Center in Sunrise on June 22.
