Clint Eastwood's daughter named Miss Golden Globe 2013
Francesca Eastwood will help on stage during ceremony
Looks like Clint Eastwood and Frances Fisher's daughter will join hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on stage during the 2013 Golden Globes.
Francesca Eastwood was named Miss Golden Globe by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association at an event on Thursday.
"One of my favorite duties during the Golden Globe season is this night when we announce Miss Golden Globe a daughter of a notable actor or actress - in this case, actor and actress - who we invite on stage to assist during the awards ceremony," Aida Takla-O'Reilly, president of the HFPA, told CNN.
Eastwood, whose credits include 1995's "The Stars Fell on Henrietta," 1999's "True Crime" and E! reality show "Mrs. Eastwood & Company," said, "I'm really honored to be chosen to be Miss Golden Globe 2013 following in the footsteps of such amazing young women and yeah I'm really excited."
Eastwood joins the ranks of former Miss Golden Globes like Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter Rumer Willis; Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith's daughter Dakota Johnson; and half sister Kathryn Eastwood, Clint's daughter with Jacelyn Reeves.
The 70th Golden Globe Awards will air on Sunday, January 13.
