Who doesn't love a good meatball sandwich?  Now there's a place that offers just that on South Beach.

The Meatball Joint is Bernie Matz's latest venture (Bernie's LA, Books & Books).  And here's how it works:  you choose from a trio of meatballs (Classic Italian, low-fat South Beach and West Hollywood) and then decide what you want to pair it with, whether drowned in marinara or served with waffle-cut sweet potato fries to name a few.

The Meatball Joint is now open at 1570 Alton Road.
