MIAMI BEACH – "Good Morning America" weather anchor Sam Champion rang in the new year on Miami Beach as a newlywed.
Champion and husband Rubem Robierb held a New Year's Eve reception with family and friends to celebrate their nuptials.

According to 'GMA's' website, singer Nicole Henry and producer Richard Ray-Alexander, a friend of Champion's, performed for 100 guests at the Icon South Beach.
The couple wed in December at Champion's New York City apartment. Fellow anchor Robin Roberts was also in attendance.
Robierb is an artist who hails from Brazil but lives in Miami, where he shows his work.
