LONDON -

The Spice Girls announced Tuesday they are getting back together for a musical based on their greatest hits.

Victoria "Posh" Beckham, Geri "Ginger" Halliwell, Emma "Baby" Bunton, Melanie "Scary" Brown, and Melanie "Sporty" Chisholm reunited at the St. Pancras Hotel in London where they group filmed their "Wannabe" music video in 1996.

The musical, which will be unveiled in the West End, is titled "Viva Forever," and is written by Absolutely Fabulous co-creator Jennifer Saunders, and produced by Judy Craymer, according to US  Magazine.  It will preview November 27 and opens December 11 at Piccadilly Theatre.

The Spice Girls have not appeared together since their reunion tour back in 2007-2008.
