MIAMI - Former soccer star and the most recent "Bachelor" Juan Pablo Galavis learned the hard way he may want to stick to playing his own sport.

Galavis threw out the first pitch at the Miami Marlins game against the Colorado Rockies Tuesday. He was wearing a specially made jersey when he threw the ball so off target Billy the Marlin couldn't make the catch.

Galavis admitted on Twitter his pitch wasn't so good, giving the credit to his girlfriend, Nikki Ferrell.

"Mi Catira had a better FIRST pitch at @Marlins PARK than ME, she DEFINITELY play ball as a KID... cc."

In another tweet, he said, "From the MOUND looks FAAAAAAAR away... I STICK to soccer..."

Ferrell was also given her own custom jersey, complete with her name and the No. 10.

The Marlins went on to beat the Rockies 4-3, starting the season off with back to back wins.
