South Florida musicians highlight 'Good Morning America' Summer Concert Series

Ariana Grande, Flo Rida, Pitbull kick off free concerts in Central Park

South Florida musicians Ariana Grande, Flo Rida and Pitbull will kick off the "Good Morning America" Summer Concert Series.

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – South Florida musicians will be well represented on "Good Morning America" this summer.

ABC News on Wednesday announced its "Good Morning America" Summer Concert Series lineup, and the first three acts all hail from South Florida.

Two-time Grammy Award nominee Ariana Grande will be the first of 16 performers scheduled to take the stage in New York's Central Park for the concert series.

Grande, who was born and raised in Boca Raton, will perform live May 20 on "Good Morning America."

Carol City rapper Flo Rida is scheduled to perform May 27. His song "My House" debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year.

Next up is Miami rapper Pitbull on June 3. Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Perez, has a pair of Grammy Awards and Latin Grammy Awards, as well as five American Music Awards.

Others scheduled to perform during the summer series are Iggy Azalea, Demi Lovato, Brad Paisley, Blink 182, Kenny Chesney, Sia, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Jason Derulo.

All concerts will take place live on Fridays during "Good Morning America" and are free to the public.
