D.L. Hughley voted off week 5 of 'Dancing'

Comedian thanks fans for their support, 'had a ball'

The judges said D.L. Hughley improved from last week. The couple got a 16 out of 30 for their Quickstep.

LOS ANGELES – After a five-week struggle on the ballroom, comedian D.L. Hughley was voted off Tuesday night on "Dancing With The Stars."

"I've had a ball. I played with house money," Hughley said of his experience. "Thank you team DL and Cheryl for keeping us in this long. I've had a ball."

Hughley's routines with pro partner Cheryl Burke always had him at the bottom of the leaderboard. He and comedian Andy Dick tied for last place after Monday's performances.

In the end, Hughley found himself alongside boxer Victor Ortiz.  But the star with the lowest overall total judges' scores and viewer votes is the one who is sent home.

Next week, celebrities will be dancing to the music of Stevie Wonder who will be performing live.

The celebrities returning to compete in week six of season 16 are: Ortiz, Dick, Aly Raisman, Zendaya, Kellie Pickler, Jacoby Jones, Ingo Rademacher and Sean Lowe.
