KEY LARGO, Fla. – A jack-o'-lantern representing undecided voters took the top prize Sunday in an underwater pumpkin carving contest at the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
Key Largo residents Jana Vandelaar and her 13-year-old daughter, Jacqueline, added large round eyes and outstretched hands to their carved pumpkin to symbolize the dilemma that many Americans face in next month's presidential election.

The winning creation rested 30 feet below the surface on the sea floor among other carved pumpkins, including two with rubber masks of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump -- dubbed "Howl-ary Clinton" and "Donald Trumpkin" -- covering them.
Participating divers were challenged to keep the hollowed-out, naturally buoyant pumpkins from floating away while they carved their works of art.
The annual contest is held before Halloween each October.
