PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – The greatest seduction story in U.S. cinema history is turning 50.
It's been a half-century since audiences were introduced to Dustin Hoffman, who made his starring debut as recent college graduate Benjamin Braddock in the 1967 Best Picture nominee "The Graduate" opposite Anne Bancroft.

Now a whole new generation of moviegoers will get to experience the sexual tension between Hoffman's Benjamin and Bancroft's Mrs. Robinson as "The Graduate" returns to theaters later this month in a limited release.
Directed by the late Mike Nichols, "The Graduate" tells the story of a confused young man, fresh out of college, who is uncertain of his future when he sheepishly engages in an affair with an older, married woman, who happens to be the mother of his true love. Naturally, this triangle of strange bedfellows cannot last.
Nichols won an Oscar for his turn behind the camera, while Hoffman, Bancroft and Katharine Ross (who plays Mrs. Robinson's daughter, Elaine) received acting nominations.
"The Graduate" will be rereleased in select theaters at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 23 and April 26. Click here for a complete list of theaters.
