Romero Britto continues to spread his brand

'The most important tool is your imagination'

MIAMI – From his studio in Miami's Wynwood, Romero Britto took the time to talk to children in North Carolina.

The students were not interested in his business. His use of bright colors and patterns captivated them.

Britto's advice to the students: "The most important tool is your imagination, because if you have imagination, you can do art with everything."

Britto, 52, continues to promote his brand around the world. He is not just a pop artist. He is a businessman with an estimated net worth of $6.75 million. The Brazilian artist employs dozens at his Britto Central studio, 150 NW 25th St., and at his gallery on Lincoln Road.

Taking the time to talk to children isn't easy for Britto. He has a demanding agenda, which includes being the torchbearer for the upcoming Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
