Taylor Swift promises 'Baby Beethoven' hug

In about two months, Jacob says he has a dreamy date in Miami

MIAMI – Seven-year-old Jacob can't wait to get the hug Taylor Swift promised him.

After the star heard his piano medley of her fifth album, "1989," his dream came true.

"I HAVE to give you a hug for that beautiful piano medley you did!" the celebrity said on a tweet Wednesday night. "Please come to a show on my tour and say hi to me? My treat."

The countdown is on for Oct. 27 when Jacob -- who is known as "The Baby Beethoven" -- will likely get to meet her in Miami. His journey to meeting the celebrity started about three years ago.

When he was four, Jacob was diagnosed with high-functioning autism, a developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact socially despite having average or above average intelligence.

After appearing on Local 10 News, the piano prodigy made it to Good morning America and CNN. His prodigious talent got him admitted to the National Musicians Guild.

"He can play Bach, Beethoven and Mozart but he prefers to play Taylor Swift any day," said his proud mom, Tina Velazquez.

Earlier this week, Velazquez wrote: "He dreams (literally has dreams) of meeting her every night. I have explained to him that she has millions of fans who would all love to meet her."

Autism Speaks, a nationwide advocacy organization, shared her letter and his YouTube video with their 187,000 followers on Twitter. Then the social media magic happened.

About 5,600 shared the tweet and 11,360 made it their favorite. By Wednesday night, Taylor Swift was blown away by her little fan. He is hoping he can play for her in person.

"She inspires me and she is very nice," Jacob said. "She is the biggest famous person in the world ... I can't wait to go to the concert ... I know she really wants to hug me and I really want to hug her also."
