It's hard to blame little Rayna.
The broken water heater she encountered in her cul-de-sac does indeed look like it was once full of life, rolling around, answering questions or helping with tasks. An extra from the 2008 Disney insta-classic "WALL-E," perhaps?
Anyway, as this 24-second heart-meltingly cute clip shows, we're not all that far off from meaningful, personal relationships with our eventual robot overlords. Hopefully they'll be more like Rosie from "The Jetsons" than HAL 9000 from "2001: A Space Odyssey."
"I wuv you, wobot," Rayna says.
