Police were called to the second home after the owner called 911 saying someone was trying to pry open a bedroom window in his house.

Police said Reyes fled the scene in a white Toyota sedan, but was stopped by officers shortly after.

Officers found a pillowcase in the back seat of the car with a Rolex watch, jewelry and perfume in it with an estimated value of at least $5,000. The owner of the first home identified the belongings as his.

Police said they are searching for a second person involved in the break-ins. He is described as a Hispanic man who was wearing jeans and a light blue polo shirt at the time.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
