HIALEAH, Fla. – One person was killed Saturday when two vehicles crashed on the Palmetto Expressway.
Officials said a Ford Expedition with six people inside rear-ended a white Toyota Corolla.

While the passengers in the Expedition were not injured, police said a passenger in the back seat of the Corolla was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where the person was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Corolla and one other passenger sustained minor injuries.
