MIAMI – One person was hospitalized after a house fire in southwest Miami-Dade County.
Firefighters extinguished the fire at 15851 SW 139th Place about 10:45 a.m.

The person injured was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The extent of that person's injuries wasn't immediately released.
It's unclear what caused the fire.
