MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Gardens police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the their city Monday night.
The shooting took place at about 9:05 p.m. when someone shot at a vehicle with three known gang members inside, in the 2400 block of Northwest 155 Terrace, police said.
One person was shot and taken to an area hospital.
Police are searching for a men in a black Chrysler 200 who they believe are responsible for the drive-by shooting, police said.
The men led police on a chase before they fled on fled on foot in the area of Northwest 63rd Street and Northwest 24th Avenue, Detective Alvaro Zabaleta of Miami-Dade police said.
Miami-Dade police is assisting during the investigation.
