1 killed, 2 injured in Pompano Beach crash

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A 77-year-old woman died overnight after being in a collision Friday evening that injured her husband and one other man at the intersection of Southwest Third Street and Southwest 23rd Avenue.

Louis Fisher, 77, was driving and Barbara Fisher was in the passenger seat of their 2013 Chrysler 300 when they were hit by a 2013 Dodge Ram, which was driven by 42-year-old Frank Cicero, police said.

After the initial collision, police reported that the Chrysler then had a minor collision with a BMW that was at the stoplight.

Louis, Barbara and Cicero were all taken to nearby hospitals.

Barbara died during the night. Louis remains in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Cicero was treated and released Friday night.

Investigators continue to investigate the accident.
