18-wheeler, Honda Fit collide on Krome Avenue

A crash involving an 18-wheeler killed one person in Miami's Redland neighborhood, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at Krome Avenue and Southwest 184th Street about 4:25 p.m. Thursday.
The driver of a white Honda Fit ran a stop sign and made a left onto Krome Avenue into the path of the 18-wheeler, say police. The two vehicles then collided.
The driver of the Fit was killed in the crash. The driver of the 18-wheeler was transported to a nearby hospital.
The victim's name wasn't immediately released.
