1 killed in Hialeah crash, 2 taken into custody

HIALEAH, Fla. – One person was killed in a car crash Thursday afternoon in Hialeah.

Hialeah police said a car crashed into another vehicle at East Fifth Avenue and 59th Street.

Police said two men ran off after the crash that left an innocent driver dead.

One of the men was captured shortly after bailing out of his car. The other was found about 30 minutes later with the help of K-9 units and the Hialeah SWAT team.

Police have not confirmed whether the crash was the result of a police chase or what other factors may have led up to the crash.
