PLANTATION, Fla. – One person was killed and two others were injured when a motorcycle crashed into a car in Plantation Friday, a Plantation Fire Rescue representative said.
The crash happened about 11:30 a.m. in the area of Northwest 3rd Street and University Drive.
All southbound lanes on University Drive were closed due to the crash.
Authorities said the driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
One person on the motorcycle was killed and the other was taken to a nearby hospital as a trauma alert.
No other details were immediately released.
