Broward Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting on 1724 Hillsboro Boulevard in Deerfield Beach.

Authorities said Friday evening two men got into an argument which ended with one man shooting the other. Right now it's unclear why they were fighting.

The victim has been transported to the hospital and the shooter is in custody.
