NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – Police are searching for the person who shot and killed a man inside a car in North Miami.
The shooting happened early Monday morning off Northwest 13th Avenue and 127th Street.
North Miami police said Sidney Fertil, 38, was returning home when he was shot multiple times. His car was found riddled with bullets.
People who live nearby said they were shocked that something like this would happen in their neighborhood.
"It's crazy. It's never happened so close before," said Beverley Boothe.
Police roped off the area as they investigated the crime. They were also searching for witnesses.
