1 shot, 2 grazed by bullets in Winn-Dixie parking lot

All men involved refuse to cooperate with detectives, police say

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. ā€“ Three men were involved in an argument that led to a shooting inside the parking lot of a Winn-Dixie plaza in Fort Lauderdale, police said.

The shooting was reported about 7:15 p.m. Monday outside the store at 1035 NW Ninth Ave.

Police said the men were involved in a verbal dispute when two of the men pulled out handguns.

Police said one man was shot in the stomach, another was grazed by a bullet in the upper leg and the third man was grazed in the arm.

The man who was shot was taken to Broward Medical Center, and the man who was grazed by a bullet in the arm drove himself to Plantation Hospital.

Police said the man who was grazed in the leg refused medical attention.

Detectives contacted all of the men involved in the shooting, who refused to cooperate with the investigation or prosecute, police said.
