MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – A 13-year-old girl was shot Monday night in Miami Gardens, police said.
At the scene, there were about 20 bullet casing markings on the ground. The shooting happened outside of the teen's home, 20431 NW 2nd Ct., behind a shopping plaza.
Police said the girl was not the intended target of the shooter. She was caught in the crossfire, and is in stable condition, police said.
Detectives are investigating the shooting.
