MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Ten students were sprayed with a fire extinguisher at a middle school in Miami Gardens, according to John Schuster, a spokesperson for Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
It happened at Norland Middle School about 10:50 a.m. Thursday.
Those 10 students were transported to Jackson North and later released. Police say some of the students who were sprayed have asthma.
The eighth grade student who sprayed the others was charged with aggravated battery, discharging a fire extinguisher, and disruption of a school function.
