An Episcopalian priest resigned from his job at Miami high school after nude photographs of him were discovered on the Internet.

According to school officials at Palmer Trinity High School, the Rev. Adrian Parry resigned Tuesday from his position as assistant chaplain and history teacher.

The pictures show Parry interacting sexually with another man, who is also nude. The pictures are too graphic to be fully displayed. The images were discovered when a former student found the Web site and sent the link to other former and current students.

No criminal charges have been filed against Parry. The Episcopalian Diocese of Southeast Florida has removed Parry as a reverend while he is investigated. According to the diocese, Parry could choose to renounce priesthood, or he could face trial by church leadership.

At first, Headmaster Sean Murphy would not speak with reporters and demanded that they get off of the school's property.

The school later provided an unsigned statement that was handed to Local 10 reporter Rad Berky by Murphy.

The statement said:

"This past Sunday evening, we discovered that a faculty menber apparently had been engaging in what, in our opinion, were inappropriate and unacceptable outside activities, considering his position at Palmer Trinity School. This discovery led to immediate action on our part. We met on Monday with the indivdual, who decided to immediately resign his faculty position. He is no longer employed by Palmer Trinity.

"We have no evidence that the individual ever engaged in any improper or inappropriate behavior involving anyone in the school community

"Palmer Trinity takes great pride in our institution, our students, their parents and our faculty

"We shall continue to provide one of the best educations in the greater Miami community."

Palmer Trinity is located at 7900 S.W. 176th St. in Miami.
