Woman Assaulted Near Universal's 'Mummy' Ride

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A woman claims she was sexually battered, beaten and threatened on Wednesday by a man near Universal Studios' "Revenge of the Mummy" ride, according to a police report.The 32-year-old woman told Orlando police that at about 6:20 p.m. she was by herself in the express line of "Revenge of the Mummy," looking for the entrance to the ride. She said that she approached a man, whom she believed to be a park employee, and he told her to follow him.The man then grabbed the woman and dragged her into an emergency exit hallway, where he threw her to the ground, according to the police report. The woman said she screamed for help and the man told her that he was going to kill her, police said.
He then held her down and sexually battered her, according to the report. The woman said she continued to scream, so the man grabbed the back of her head and repeatedly slammed her forehead into the ground, according to police.The police report said that the man began taking off his pants and the woman continued fighting until she was able to escape.The victim described the assailant as possibly Cuban or Dominican, in his 40s, with short dark hair. She said that he was about 6 feet 7 inches tall, and that he was wearing a black Polo shirt, dark blue or brown pants and black leather dress shoes.The culprit had no facial hair, tattoos or piercings, according to the woman.
