Local TV Reporter Accused Of Threatening Officer

MIAMI -- A local TV reporter is in trouble with the law after he allegedly threatened a police officer during a traffic stop Wednesday morning.

WFOR-TV reporter Mike Kirsch is facing charges of assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct.

A Miami-Dade police officer claimed Kirsch threatened her and then charged at her after she pulled him over for allegedly making an illegal U-turn in Doral.

Kirsch, an employee at the local CBS affiliate since 2001, bonded out of jail Wednesday night.
