Math Teacher Charged With Sexual Assault

15-Year-Old Girl Told Another Teacher Of Attack, Police Say

A Pompano Beach math teacher has been charged with two counts of sexual battery.

Police said 43-year-old Conraad Hoever sexually assaulted a 15-year-old student last Friday at Ely High School.

Hoever allegedly pushed a 15-year-old girl against a classroom wall, lifted her skirt and assaulted her. The student reported the attack to another teacher, according to police.

The school board is conducting an investigation.
