MIAMI – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrested close to 200 at-large criminal aliens living in Florida.
The bust was part of a nationwide operation that lasted five days.
The operation targeted convicted criminal aliens who authorities said are a priority for removal.

Across the state, 168 arrests were made, 117 of which were in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
The criminals had a wide range of felony convictions including, voluntary manslaughter, child pornography, robbery, kidnapping and rape.
Nationwide, 2,059 people were arrested. Miami had the third most arrests in the country, behind Los Angeles and Atlanta.
