Armed Men Order Employees To Ground, BSO Says

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -- Two men dressed in black and wearing masks robbed a CVS Pharmacy early Tuesday morning.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the armed men entered the store at 1501 S. Federal Highway around 5:30 a.m. and instructed workers to get on the ground. They then took the manager through the store at gunpoint and told him to give them money from the cash registers, according to BSO.
The robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A perimeter was set up to search for the robbers with assistance from BSO's canine and helicopter units.
The store was equipped with surveillance cameras and deputies are reviewing video tapes.
