MIAMI -- Firefighters are having a tough time extinguishing a fire that reignited Monday night onboard a freighter ship on the Miami River. The fire first broke out on the ship named Atlantic on Saturday. It took more than 100 firefighters to put out that first blaze. The ship's cargo, which included mattresses and cars being shipped to Haiti, reignited overnight.
Firefighters said they had a hard time getting access to the flames the second time because two large metal doors were jammed closed. Two firefighters were hurt while battling the blaze. One firefighter was taken to a local hospital and is now in stable condition.
