Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Welcomes 4-Legged Recruit

MIAMI -- Miami-Dade Fire Rescue welcomed its newest recruit -- a 4-legged one -- on Tuesday.

Sierra is Miami-Dade Fire Rescue's newest recruit. More

Sierra, a 2-year-old Labrador retriever, is an arson dog specializing in accelerant detection.

After training in Maine for three months, she had a badge pinning ceremony Tuesday morning.

Sierra is Miami-Dade County's second special arson dog.
