MIAMI -

Eighteen people were treated for injuries Tuesday after a crash involving a Miami-Dade Transit bus and a FedEx truck, Miami fire officials said.

The crash occurred at Northwest Seventh Avenue and 17th Street.

Miami police said the FedEx truck was moving south on Seventh Avenue when it ran a red light, hitting an M bus that was moving east on 17th Street.

Paramedics evaluated 25 people after the crash, and 18 people, including the bus driver, were taken to three hospitals. All of the injuries were minor, according to authorities.

From Sky 10 overhead, paramedics could be seen taking a man and two women off the bus on back boards.

Lt. Ignatius Carroll of Miami Fire Rescue said the FedEx truck driver was not injured.

Miami police said the driver of the FedEx truck was cited.
