FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Two people have been arrested in the death of a homeless man whose body was found floating in the water at a Fort Lauderdale park.
The body of Jerome P. Harte, 60, was discovered Monday morning in the water at George English Park.

Fort Lauderdale police Detective Tracy Figone said David Harrison and Ashley Barrientos, both 24, were arrested in connection with Harte's death.
Figone said the homeless suspects had been involved in an ongoing dispute with Harte and made threats against him prior to his death.
A cause of death was not revealed.
