MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Two suspects were taken into custody in connection with a burglary at a northeast Miami-Dade County home Tuesday afternoon.
The burglary happened at a house on Northeast 24th Avenue, just west of Biscayne Boulevard and south of Ives Dairy Road.

Miami-Dade police said a third person got away.
A police helicopter could be seen searching for the other culprit.
Sara Schermer, who lives nearby, said there has been an increase in home burglaries to the neighborhood. She said her home was broken into twice in the past year-and-a-half.
