DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) — Two Florida men charged with bank robbery in South Carolina are back in the state.
The Morning News of Florence reports that 28-year-old Michael Edward Monaghan and 21-year-old David Allen Montes Sabula were returned to Darlington County and faced arraignment Friday.
The two, both of Naples, Fla., are charged in a July 31 robbery at a Bank of America branch in Darlington. Monaghan also is charged with attempted robbery a short time later at a TD Bank branch in nearby Florence.
Police said earlier that Monaghan is also wanted for robberies at a bank and two grocery stores in Winter Park, Fla.
The two were arrested last week in Carneys Point, N.J. It was not clear if they had attorneys.
