HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Two charges have been dropped against a mother who was accused of resisting arrest and leaving her four children alone in her minivan while she gambled at the Seminole Classic Casino.
The State Attorney's Office confirmed that the child neglect and resisting with violence charges were dropped against Bianca Davis Bentley on Wednesday, but she is still charged with battery on a law enforcement officer.

Meanwhile, Bentley told Local 10 News that her children were taken away from her by the Department of Children and Families on Wednesday, and said she didn't know why.
DCF officials told Local 10 News that the children were taken due to an unrelated case that was opened on Monday, but didn't provide any additional details regarding the case.
Bentley claims she was a victim of police brutality during the February incident, stating that she was stunned by officers on scene with Tasers after being handcuffed.
The Bentley family said they often leave their 1, 2, and 12 year-old children in the care of their 13-year-old daughter, Trinette.
According to Florida statute, no parent, legal guardian, or other person responsible for a child younger than 6 years old can leave that child alone in a car for more than 15 minutes. The Bentley family said the kids were not alone; they consider their 13-year-old to be the person responsible for the other children when they are not all together.
Bianca Bentley said when she was confronted by police in the parking lot, she was assaulted.
"I was saying all along, 'please don't Tase me, I'm going to lay here, I'm going to cooperate. Just don't Tase me.' And they Tased me one time in my side. One time in the other side. And the last time he Tased me in the back of my leg right here," she said.
The family claims when 13-year-old Trinette got out of the van to hug her mother, officers assaulted her as well.
"They slammed me to the ground and they put me in cuffs. Someone hit me in the face. And they threw me on top of the car," Trinette said.
A spokesperson for the Seminole tribe, however, told Local 10 there is surveillance video to prove otherwise.
The video has not been released at this time.
