FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -

Two girls were taken to the hospital after fire rescue officials say they were hurt while tubing.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said the girls were on an inner tube being pulled by a boat Friday evening when somehow the tube and girls were hit by a piling.

The girls were then thrown into the water, officials said.

The two were taken to Broward Health. Authorities said they didn't look badly injured.

No other details were provided.
