2 die in separate accidents after losing control of vehicles

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Police say two men died in two separate car accidents Saturday morning after each of them lost control of their vehicle.

David Sandoval, 49, was traveling north in his Ford Explorer when he lost control and crashed into the median at the 1100 block of Weston Road. Sandoval was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:09 a.m.

Daniel Forehand, 24, was traveling north on University Drive when he also failed to maintain control of his car, striking a concrete utility pole. The vehicle was split in two from the force of the impact and Forehand was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said there were no signs of any other vehicles being involved in either crash.
