2 dogs killed in West Park house fire

5 people displaced

WEST PARK, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Fire Marshals Bureau and the State Fire Marshal are investigating after two dogs died in a house fire in West Park on Tuesday.

The fire broke out at a home at 4822 SW 18th Street about 2:45 p.m.

Authorities said five adults were displaced, and two dogs were killed in the fire.

The Red Cross has been called in to help the victims.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
