WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Gregory B. Moore avoided getting caught for two days. But he didn't do it alone, police said. Federal and local authorities were looking for him. Two of his friends admitted Friday that they helped him hide.
He started his Dec. 2nd crime spree in Fort Lauderdale. In a rage, he pointed a gun at a mom who was on her way to take her son to school, got in the car and ordered her to get on Interstate 95 southbound.

He dropped off both mom and son on the side of I-95. Minutes later, he abandoned their car in Dania Beach, and was involved in a second carjacking. He drove to Hallandale Beach. His victims -- Danielle Roland and Johnson St. Louis -- were outside Riemer Insurance Group in a red Chevrolet.
He shot at them, beat up Roland and fled. The two were later pronounced dead at Memorial Regional Hospital. To escape, Moore carjacked a third vehicle and drove northbound on I-95. This time it was a blue Chevy Silverado. He abandoned it near Broward Boulevard.
And a massive two-day hunt began. Meanwhile, his friend, Tequilla Ingram, 33, and Jonathan Marion, 23, helped him hide, police said.
Ingram picked him up and checked him into a hotel room under a fake name, police said. She came back to the hotel the next day to pick him up and help him escape, police said.Jonathan Marion helped him hide too and let him use his cell phone, police said.
Police eventually caught up to Moore in West Palm Beach. His trial is set for April 6.
His two friends were also arrested. Ingram and Marion are facing one count of accessory after the fact. They plead guilty Friday and are set to appear in court April 24. They could face up to 15 years in prison.
