Broward Sheriff's Office investigates morning armed robbery

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. ā€“ Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for the two robbers who took thousands in merchandise and cash from a store that specializes on prepaid cell phone service in Deerfield Beach.

Two gunmen walked into the front door of Boost Mobile, 1668 W. Hillsboro Blvd. They were wearing masks.

After locking the store's front door, they threatened two people -- a customer and a store employee, deputies said.

They forced the employee to open the safe. They tied their hands with tape and locked them in an office. The robbers fled through the back door.

The two were asking any one with information to call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477 or 1-866-493-8477.
