MIAMI - Two people were taken to Ryder Trauma Center after a shootout in Miami Saturday, according to police.
At around 4:30 p.m., two victims, ages 19 and 45, suffered multiple gunshot wounds near 55th Street and NW 4th Avenue in Miami, Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Lt. Ignatius Carroll said.
Two homes nearby had bullet holes in them. An elderly woman in one of the houses was narrowly missed by one of the bullets, Carroll said.
Police are investigating. Local 10 will update this story as more information is available.
