2 injured in Tamarac crash

Victims transported to Broward General Hospital

TAMARAC, Fla. -

Two people were injured Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Tamarac.

The crash happened on Rock Island Road and Holly Drive.

Police say the car hit a tree and caught fire.

Both victims were ejected from the vehicle upon impact. One of the victims transported by ground and the second by air to Broward General Hospital.

Their conditions are not known.

Police say the vehicle was on fire when units arrived.
